Thank you for the interesting post.

The last paragraph is a great point and something that is always missed by people who dismiss simulation theory. If we are in a simulation it is illogical to use the simulation parameters (our understanding of our world) to prove that we are not in a simulation. If we are in a simulation how can we have any confidence in what is possible in the world that the simulations creator exists in? Is it illogical to say a simulation thought is completely unable address a reality that is outside the framework of the simulation?

I’ve never understood this. What am I missing?

We can't have confidence about the properties of the world outside the simulation, and that ignorance has nothing to do with the assessment of if we are in a simulation
