Yep, an SPV node is indeed a type of node. It's part of the network but doesn't carry the full load like a full node does.

Thinks of it as a team player that doesn't wear the heavy gear. Still plays the game, just travels light! 🏃‍♂️🎒🌐

Alright, quick rundown:

Lightweight node (SPV): just checks block headers to confirm transactions. It's all about speed and less data.

Lightning node: that's for the Lightning Network. It manages payment channels for super fast, tiny fee transactions.

Two different beasts for two different jobs! 🐍🦁⚡💨
