Okay, I like Fountain well enough for podcasts, but I see these promoted clips of Joe Rogan experience I don’t care about and can’t change plus the promoted episodes are typically religiously aligned episodes. 🤔 am I missing some settings I can tweak? It's been a while since I used Fountain but the two big reasons I switched to Podverse were less clutter/bigger fonts for my old eyes, and their premium subscription is more affordable. I like that Fountain has its own wallet, whereas Podverse only works with Alby.
As far as reliability goes, I'd say Podcast Addict leaves them both in the dust. In some ways these new 2.0 apps remind me of a car with too many bells and whistles. Instead of a simple knob to control fan speed, you now have computer-controlled push buttons that go nuts and leave you with a foggy windshield.
