Hashrate continues to increase. It is continually getting cheaper and cheaper to participate in mining in #Bitcoin denominated terms. So ask yourself where the security budget argument is coming from. It's coming from people who want to instill fear into people and actually create new attack vectors. There is no security budget problem.

Okay, I'm unclear on this please help. I thought if hashrate is increasing that means more computing power is chasing after the block reward, which means rewards are distributed amongst a greater amount of participants. IE lower returns. In bitcoin.
