I just don't like pointless or inefficient activities. Most rules are only there to encourage obedience for no reason. I love the rules that have a real purpose like don't jump in front of a truck. People who follow pointless rules for their own sake are usually sucking up to someone else for approval or virtue signaling.

Oh man yes this 1000x. I fiat mine in a heavily regulated industry and the bullshit hoops we have to jump through make me want to just go slap everyone in the room. So many useless tasks and time wasted just to check a box that no one will ever look at again.
Drives me crazy all day every day. That's all so many jobs have become, meaningless compliance.
