Open Source Elementary

A rough draft of a concept I wrote out two years ago...

Open Source Elementary is a new concept in learning that is structured around independence and sovereign principles. Children will learn through guided pathways that teach principled concepts of natural law while having a focus on a STEAM based agenda that models the students interests. We believe that education does not have to have structured barriers as part of the learning landscape. There are no start and stop times, no tests as traditional schools define them and education is guided by the students interest in learning the subject, not by traditional instruction and scoring. We embrace concepts around Montessori based education models and empower kids learning through technology tools by teaching STEAM based fundamentals. Our kids learn the concepts of problem solving by experience.

This sounds fantastic. The way our schools work today is very dated. I would want to put my kids through an education like this. I think this style would need a lot of individual participation from teachers and parents so it would be quite costly

Where is the draft?

On my computer 💻

Would be nice if you could share that knowledge.
