Thank you, but I’m never going towards proprietary software again. I guess I’ll have to find funding or own time to move all my content to a FOSS solution and self host.

WordPress is free and open source. Has been since the beginning. I self host mine :)

Yes, they are starting with Tumblr and ActivityPub. I think they hired the ActivityPub plugin author: https://profiles.wordpress.org/pfefferle/
