But to try to clarify a bit the ui, the different icons that appear below every relay url its, the house, that indicates that the relay its gonna be used to fetch notes for your feed, based in your contacts, the envelope its to fetch dms from the relay, the group of people icon I assume that its for groups, streams, etc, and the global icon mean that you are gonna use that relay for the global view

I m in the same boat. And hearing the answer below I would say that shit should be automated but with the option to manually adjust. Should just be a add relay button and it does all of them without showing you unless you go to settings to adjust it.
