I’m exactly the same. Why trust the mainstream institutions when they’ve (purposefully I would argue) failed us at every turn. There are other institutions, older and saner.

I just wish I wasn't such an unwanted weirdo just because I don't fit in the system and refuse to obey and sacrifice my life and children to it. I'm not hurting anyone, I gave on my taxes and payments so much and heard only "you should've find out about that, there's a big fine you'll have to pay" from the bureau.
Now with kids it's so hard to accept we're just system numbers and still have freedom to choose job and school, right? We should shut up, people in China or Venezuela have it way worse.
