Great idea. I found this on Aliexpress.
there are a number of products that are like otg / lightning storage that also work as chargers, sandisk ixpand is the name brand one, isn’t very cabley, some Amazon knock offs are a bit more cably but like 6 inch.
Could always put an ultra fit in fresh housing, solder the cable to the housing to keep it secure, but the other end won’t work.
There are a few tutorials on how to make one but nothing I could find to buy ready made.

I was only looking for a storage device disguised as a cable, but these things are… obviously quite scary.
They are also massively over engineered and under priced for what I was thinking. 🤯

You can do an awful lot with a cable. I've some modded usb thumb drives which act as both storage and a keyboard. Plug them in and off they go running whatever scripts are programmed on them. They reduce the time at desk to compromise a machine down to seconds.
