It was a fantastic and engaging social platform during it's time.
It was quite nice at the time. A mixture of Twitter & Facebook with good UX
Circles were really powerful, allowing us to curate content for and to specific groups of people. I miss the UI. It was very clean and fast.

Stupid question: did anybody think of creating a client that emulates the orkut experience for nostr?
i never really used orkut, but i had a bunch of invites back in 2004. i used them to trade for a gmail invite in april of 2004. anyways, i haven't heard of anyone mentioning this.
