Whatever software or service, if I see "Support via Discord", I'm out. And this isn't something new, Discord has had many security flaws and data breaches in the past. But lots of people only have a 4-second memory. Only morons use Discord.

What problem do discord-like apps solve anyway? I didn't need it in 30 years.
Seamles voice, text and (video) interactions on a medium to big scale usually. Works for gamers, code collaborators, discussions, all sorts of possible collaborations using it.
