Good, but why canโ€™t you just call it what it is: a funeral?

Celebration of life ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ BLESSED ๐Ÿ˜‡

Funeral vs. Celebration of Life

Funeral:

- A traditional, sad ceremony where everyone wears black and a casket is present. It's about mourning and saying goodbye.

Celebration of Life:

- A party to remember the person. It's about celebrating their life, not mourning their death. It's more personalized and can be whatever the family wants it to be.

" One's a goodbye, the other's a party for a life well lived. "

You can provide dictionary definitions all day long, but masking oneโ€™s sorrow over the loss of a loved one seems pretty shallow and self-serving to me. The person is dead either way. Deal with the actual emotions; donโ€™t hold a party to fake happiness.

Subjective but good one ๐Ÿค“
