Our family cat (who was not even 2 years old) died today. She seems to have fallen and landed badly on her stomach over a railing (probably the scaffolding from the work on our house). We rushed her to the vet and they operated but she didn't make it.
It's always sad to lose a pet but this is the first I've experienced with my own kids. And seeing how heartbroken they are is way worse. 💔
All life is fleeting. Cherish it.
