Definitely just be prepared. Youre competing directly with the guys im the union for work so you can get fucked easy. Just watch your mouth and dont get involved in work place bullshit. Hang out with the smokers and figure out who the non fuckheads are and make friends with them fast. Carry their tools and shit and ask questions that arent retarded. Also drop whatever ego you may have those boomers will turn you inside out. You should be fine. Trade unions can be a great jumping point but be ready to deal with old grumps fighting over jobs.
