I've sleep trained all prior kids at 4-5 months old. This 5th baby smiles so much and I'm a completely different man with a lot more freedom... I don't have it in me yet. Might just bring him into bed for a few weeks. (Could totally change my mind in a week)

We’re about to sleep train our girl. My wife is very hesitant after doing it with our son, who is famously terrible at sleeping lol
Good luck! It sounds like you have a good process you’re going to follow.
My first was terrible as well. My first principle hypothesis is that it sucks to be alone (assuming you are giving them a room). Everything got 100x easier once I put all my kids in one room together, a nursery with boys and girls until they age out. Mega leverage there.
