- Launcher: KISS Launcher

- App sources: F-Droid + FFUpdater + Obtainium

- File manager: Amaze

- Keyboard: Thumb-Key (unless you have a physical one)

- Browsers: Mull/Mulch, Firefox Focus, Tor Browser (all via FFUpdater), Pocket Gopher, Buran

- Email client: K-9 Mail

- Camera: Open Camera

- OTP app: Aegis

- CLI environment: Termux

- Media players: VLC, Xmp Mod Player, Clipious

- Communications: Conversations, aTox, Element, Linphone, Jitsi Meet

- Crypto wallets: Unstoppable, Monerujo, Ywallet

- Smartwatch interaction: Gadgetbridge, Casio G-Shock Smart Sync

- Utils: Orbot, Orientation Faker, Wasted

Is there Lagrange for Android already? Because Buran is also aimed at Gemini browsing.

Is BlueWallet FOSS?

For others, I don't know, will take a look myself.

Nevermind about Lagrange, found https://skyjake.github.io/fdroid/repo/ and added to F-Droid. It would replace both Buran and Pocket Gopher then.

Ywallet also doesn't advertise it, only mentioning the repo link in their FAQ.

Tiny keyboard only supports en_US layout, I need at least two more of them.

8Vim is an interesting concept (on those without physical kbds) but I couldn't find a way to quickly switch the input language or at least quickly toggle between non-Latin and Latin, although there is some kind of quirky gesture to perform to do this. Probably need to put more time and effort into learning this arcane input method, but Thumb-Key looks more straightforward to me as of now.

Aves Libre looks like a nice gallery application.

Fennec doesn't seem to be useful, because essentially it is an older version of Firefox Focus.

Material Files looks like a fork/mod of Amaze.

DroidFS needs more looking into.

DroidFS works good, although I don't know if it shows a masterkey to backup the data, something it should do. But it also supports CryFS and I do reccommend it for Android.
