Darnit. Dropped a sign.
I had
2ab = -2ab + 4ab
and then I moved the -2ab over and forgot to turn that into a positive.
Maff is hard. I have so much trouble moving the numbers around.
They are equal:
1. (a + b)^2 = (a - b)^2 + 4ab
2. a^2 + 2ab + b^2 = a ^ 2 - 2ab + b^2 + 4ab
3. The right side simplifies to: a ^ 2 + 2ab + b^2

So the answer is ab = ab ?
Me too. I've been studying to re-learn so I can become more of a computer scientist, rather than a programmer. I have been following these for cirriculum:
