What does it mean to be shadow banned on Primal? How do you know? How do they do it?

for me it means, my frens never see my posts there. i know because they tell me, and are surprised i post multiple times a day. they do it by not showing my posts to frens.
Does that mean they are shadow banning you though? Or could it be an innocent byproduct of design? I'm trying to root out if you think it's intentional mischief or just an innocent reality (if you know one way or the other).
