I’ve been trying to promote #nostr to people I know. One person said it was “too confusing” and I haven’t gotten any other bites yet 😭 Any suggestions? #asknostr

No, they are right. Most users here dont get it. This is not user friendly at all. All of the web UIs have terrible user experience.

It really is a struggle. Most normies aren't ready for Nostr. But, the few I have sold on it, I had to sit with them and teach. Of course, they need to be willing to learn first. Perseverance, K. Marathon, not a sprint. 😉🤙🏼

I got my girlfriend on it. I had her download primal because it has a built in wallet and then showed her how to buy sat and zap people
Everyone is motivated differently. Different targets take different approaches. Finding the right one that penetrates “one” isn’t the same that penetrates “all.”
