Grandma candies. They always had a crystal dish of them, individually wrapped in colorful plastic, by the sofa. The one with the plastic covers on it.

Bro, my grandma used to have those strawberry candies whenever I would visit during my childhood. Talk about an addiction. 7 minutes and they’re all gone from the bowl.

They were filled with - my best explanation - strawberry goo. I don’t know what FDA regs allowed back then, but that sweet center was what kept you coming back.
