Already a little drunk, I could tell you that it has been a difficult year to get out of the inflationary and money-issuing wheel.
We have had annualized inflation of approximately 95% (previously before Milei it was 300%). But with a strong peso and a devalued dollar. Which translates directly into very high prices in the economy. It has brought us closer to normality because historically we have always been an expensive country.
It will probably take us a while to adjust this gap and for salaries to be restored, but without being a #Milei voter there are several things that he brought us for good that we had forgotten:
- Money printing and inflation are the cancer of our society at all social levels. A mistake that began in 2011. Never again.
- Social assistance is important, but it cannot be infinite, we must recover the discourse that work is what makes us better.
- Argentina is a rich country, not only for its resources but for its people, we must develop to the maximum without lethargy. We can compete internationally at almost any level.
I think these are the basic concepts that will take us to a good 2025.
