Nice, welcome to the blogger club. Oder muss ich sagen: Willkommen.
How difficult/painful is it to manage a Wordpress in 2 languages? Thinking about translating mine into my mothertongue in addition to English but it looks a nightmare to manage, and I alr!ady have not enough time to write English article as often as I want.
Thank you very much. I wish I could tell you how time-consuming it will be. I just started with WordPress today, and I plan to post an article every second or third day. Unfortunately, I don't have a sense yet of how much effort it will require.
What is the name of your blog? I will drop by when I have the chance.
I figured out I missed this reply. My blog is at eluc.ch if you want to have a look. I'm trying to migrate it to a new home server so except downtime in the following days, hopefully it will be short enough that nobody notice.
IMO you should stick to only one language. It's a lot easier for you and more comfortable to the reader. Personally, I don't like to see several language on the same page.
But, you could try to make a twin website. Exactly the same, copy pasted, but with a different, yet close, domain name. One in English, the other one in your language.
Thanks for the tips. I'm wondering if I do that or just a complete different blog in another language. But you are right, it's quite painful to maintain content that must be exactly the same in several language and I don't want to translate it by a software.
