This attack is easy to do again and again. One has to know the technical details and think about it at least a bit to see how disgenuine it is.
Also if you have any preconcieved biases against bitcoin, this is just a confirmation so why would you invest in the research of the other side viewpoint.
Even my friends that are not against bitcoin, even own some, but don't care about the technical stuff will send me links to these attacks semi-concerned. Again and again. The evergreen is the "one transaction is equivalent to x tons of co2". So I explain it patiently again and again.
I'd also like to say "it's all nonsense and not even a discussion", but instead it's always a good opportunity to talk about bitcoin with normies when they honestly want to listen.
It's an attack, so let's use judo moves to redirect the attackers energy into something good.
