But milipedes are slow this fuckers jump out of sinks, they are a sign of a clean house compared to roaches but still:
House centipedes can run at speeds of up to about 1.3 feet (0.4 meters) per second, which is roughly 16 inches per second. This speed allows them to quickly catch prey and evade predators. Pound for pound, this is comparable to a human running 42 mph.
Dude I grew up in Pittsburgh and these things were my main enemy. So fast. And when they get big they hiss with their legs.
Wow. I had no idea. That's wild. They both freak me out and that doesn't happen much for me. I am less afraid of black widows and rattle snakes even.
