Some calibres aren't fun to shoot. However, I loved shooting a single .454 Casule from a revolver. It immediately became my fav.

I used to shoot guns very very long ago. I think I tried revolver maybe once, don't even know what that was. Recently I paid for an hour shooting of bigger calibres for my husband though, and he was happy like a kid in candyshop.π
I grew up with guns, and never paid much attention to shotguns, and now I think they're one of the best types of "small arms".
You can load them with light-recoil target rounds (which is super-fun), small game loads (for hunting rabbit, turkeys, etc), or load them with 00 Buck-shot, or a slugs (for large game, self defense, or shooting through multiple barriers).
If you have the option to shoot one at the range, I highly recommend it!
I was once smitten by Winchester. Also lately I was preparing a bird shot by a shotgun and honestly it didn't leave the best impression, especially on my teeth.π
shotguns aka scatterguns r very usefull/birdshot 4 reg. guns also
Yup, we call them a weapon for the house and garden.
shotguns are what i specialised in. i was becoming a defence instructor. focusing on home protection. 12 shotguns seemed to be the way to go.
