Fix the money to save the world’s ability to stop killing each other all day, every day, and maybe figure out how we’re getting off this death trap of a rock before AI helps some self-important asshole kill us all….

Assuming that knots, even at over 20% node install base, has not achieved any material impact on network spam propagation, nor does bitcoin core seem particularly interested in considering knots runners to be economically impactful "users" for whom they should be solving software problems, what is the overall goal in running knots?
