Does anyone know of a course or video on how to set up a cold storage hardware wallet that has no recurring fees and would allow a transaction from Gemini and strike?

Any BTC wallet can send to a cold storage wallet. There are many how to videos on YouTube. You will want to find one specific to your hardware “cold storage” wallet.

I would recommend setting up the wallet then sending over some test sats before trying to send your whole stack.

I was hoping to find someone to walk me through it in exchange for sats. Otherwise what you said is my plan. Follow random videos and do tests.

If you want to shoot some questions over ask away. I was a nervous wreck when I set up mine but the hardware wallet supplier had some pretty good instructions.
