Pixel with GrapheneOS. Always get the 'a' version, the extra size and spec isnt worth the extra money for the flagship 👌
Was looking at the 7… Would 6a be much of a difference in performance?

I have the 7 and I had the 5 before this, performance wise there might not be a huge difference but the phone design for the 7 is way better imo.

Ive had 3a, 4a, 6a and 6. I'm still using the 3a from 2018 for everyday and its fine.
The 6a to 6 isnt noticeable to me apart from the size.
Absolutely no need to buy these devices on release these days, crazy prices.
If you can't get a pixel, check to see if its easy to install lineage OS on it (Samsung is known for making it difficult). Try to buy the phone in full otherwise they will lock you out of modifying the OS until you pay it off 😓

I enjoy it for the freedom of not having a locked up system. Super customizable
Cheaper & unbloathed? Upgrade to OnePlus. But the hardware is meh. Otherwise cheap Pixel & go for CalyxOS (or GrapheneOS, but haven't used that myself) 🤷🏻♂️
