It's pretty foolish to pack your truck with fireworks for extended periods of time. This is what happens when people from Jersey cross the Holland Tunnel to shop for fireworks on Canal Street. Because they can't resist stopping for Peking Duck at Mr. Tang's before heading back across the river, leaving their freshly purchased explosives in the back of their vehicle while they dine. I don't know much about Queens. Last time I was there was like 93. I had some friends who lived on the Queens/Brooklyn border. Bunch of crazy Irishmen. Queens always felt like a wild west sorta vibe. I generally confine myself to Manhattan and Brooklyn when I'm visiting home.
