Working on my thesis, at times, leaves me emotionally exhausted. The research was the easy part, the difficult part has been giving the female characters their own voice.

I’m going to start classes in a month and I must/want to present a progress report. I began to turn a story I wrote into a novel.
Maybe I missed it and you've already written it, but what is your dissertation about?
I don't think I've ever told it here. I'm doing a Master in Creative Writing. I've been writing for a long time, but I only started doing it seriously a couple of years ago.
A Master in Creative Writing! Wow, that’s interesting. Have you already written and published books? Or is it more theoretical, i.e. scientific?
