There are 3 basic types.

A carbon based mat

Silver woven sheet or under sheet

Stainless steel woven sheet or under sheet

I went with the surgical stainless steel because of the durability & lack of oxidation over time. I just bought the single version & laid it horizontally across our queen bed under the fitted sheet.
