What is their marketing doing correctly?

Basically telling them that they’ll make a lot of money with fact TA charts and hype about the future of money

Isn’t that what all the other coins are doing? What are they doing differently?

It is but I think xrp just has more money

Just pure capital from Amex and Chase?

I’m not sure how they get their money tbh but I know they’ve been fighting endless lawsuits.

I've had friends ask about XRP.

They always send me links to articles that have it going to $100 per coin, not realizing the market cap would be insanely unrealistic.

They also mention banks using it to transfer funds between each other. "They don't do that with Bitcoin".

Yeah it’s pretty annoying because you have to try and explain the difference between bitcoin and crypto which requires you to explain the difference between money and fiat which then requires you to explain why fiat is bad 😂

The decentralized future. There will be all kinds of cryptocurrencies that people will trade in. One day payment processors will let you pick any shitcoin to pay with 🤡

That's the hard part... The information gab between no coiner and Bitcoiners is getting really wide.

It really is. I sometimes talk to normies like as if they understand what inflation is. Most don’t even know that it’s caused by government. I don’t even know where to start with them 😂

I think we sorta have to tell our “origin story”. We can’t start at the depths of where we are, but go back to the surface. Why did we start digging here? Why did we decided to follow the white rabbit? We just need to tell the beginning of how the fire started for us. What’s your “origin story”?

… mine started when I was sitting in the middle of the ocean staring out into the sea with a bunch of my fishing buddies. And one of them asked me “what do you think of bitcoin?” And I realized I should have an opinion given my background and I didn’t.😅

That’s a really good point. If I’m going to teach others about bitcoin, it helps to explain my story. That would make it more relatable too and less intimidating since a lot of normies have fragile egos.

The easiest way I found to explain it, has been to reverse the question on them.

"What do YOU know about Bitcoin?"

I find it easier to know where they're at, then go from there.

Yup Socratic method helps. Some folks like me feel a little patronized when I see what’s happening.

Usually not much aside from the price 😂
