im now getting pretty stable environment telemetry. heres my signal graph, the sender antenna is 2dbi, the receiver is 10dbi.. no special setup, not outdoors (yet) over about a 3km distance

yes some are for IoT telemetry project around the property, some are for an adhoc mobile comms network deployment or marine systems applications.
