GM,

I am increasingly of the option that young adults right out of high school are better served by getting some sort of skill that is in demand.

This is before college…

That skill can be a fall back when times are difficult.

This notion that everyone MUST go to college is old and outdated.

And only benefits the college endowment…

What is your opinion?

"Old and outdated" is the kind of thinking that keeps things fresh. Keep questioning the script. You're on the right path.

I am seeing the cluster that is my daughter’s college…

It is wasting her time.

Young adults should be trying new things not wasting time on the whims of a professor.

Cheers!

I agree. I honestly think information and learning should be as free as possible. So we may thrive. These days you don't need a college to learn moat useful skills.

I dropped out of highschool.

The notion that you must waste your teens, also outdated

Heard on a podcast about a teen killing it power washing houses. Still in high school-making $60,000!

Not everyone is meant to be a Doctor or Lawyer. Kids should not go into large amounts of debt just because their high school teachers used scare tactics and told them they would be unsuccessful in life if they chose not to

It’s almost the only path in life is to work for a corporation.

We live in the best time to an entrepreneur…
