I was actually watching this recently. Almost done with season 2.

How do you like it?

Very slow initially but the concept was cool. Got bored because the story wasn’t interesting to me yet. Eventually came back to it yesterday because I had some free time. Story is actually starting to get more interesting as people are scrambling to recruit jinwoo.

First season reminded me of death note a lot. While the protagonist learns to use the notebook

An old but popular anime. Similar concept, they have hunters who get licenses and shit to kill beasts. The protagonist doesn’t know his father because he left him to hunt. So he wants to become a great hunter and find his father. That’s about all I know that is similar between the stories.

Is it good/entertaining?

A lot of people love it but I haven’t watched it enough to give a fair opinion. It’s also not finished because the creator has a track record of going on hiatus for various reasons. Like one time he went on hiatus because a new game came out that he was obsessed with. He also has some health problems that force him to take breaks from making the manga.

Trigun is similar vintage. But the story builds so profoundly as you learn more about the main character and it ends in such a tremendously interesting denumet (i dont speak french) it's worth the slow build. Also lots of zaney characters and badass action. There's also this priest:

I love one piece and I think you would love it too. But you have to read most of it. Watch up until episode 325 then switch to manga. If you can’t read the manga then it’s going to be a painful grind. The animation studio did a terrible job with the pacing in the later episodes. The English voice actors are also terrible so you gotta watch it subbed.
