- the spam is real

- the filters don't work

- out of band txs are extremely bad for bitcoin

- mempool should represent what's mined

- jpg's won't use op_return because inscriptions are cheaper

- nothing will happen if we simply don't do anything now

I had been overlooking the second order effect of typical users having to wait longer than expected when there are spam stacks, rather than doing fee estimation with the spam txs in their mempool.

I feel like this is getting lost in the sauce
