thats just a social media thing and in the end it isn't very many people.

monero is important because

at the very least

it reminds bitcoiners that Bitcoin is supposed to operate WITHOUT state approval and that NGU is NOT freedom-go-up.

While not exclusively “NGU = freedom go up”, NGU is critical to giving bitcoiners power and freedom

yeah I dont disagree .

its just I think privacy has to come *before NGU.

because you cant get it afterwards.

and that was a mistake Bitcoin made.

You can have NGU in IOUs completely beholden and surveilled by custodians. But the ideal would definitely be both NGU and FGU. I think you and Hanshan would probably agree with that.
