With the money saved perhaps we can have a street party or actually afford to go down the pub where we get to together and decide who we are going to tar and feather first.

Gb news are adding the election spin as if it were important... its not. People are just deciding not to pay council tax because they cant afford to and they willing to give money away to everywhere else on the planet while claiming there is a financial black which they need raise taxes for.
Maybe? Its all noise H. Whilst we are demonstrating, they are winning. Poll tax revolt, they win. Poll tax 2, they win. Council tax revolt, they will win. We are all slaves. Average tax bill is about 60% of income and most don't realise it.
Its not a demonstration its simply not paying it....
Which is a form of demo. If everybody didn't pay, then that would make waves but that'll never happen
I get your point but that's what is being proposed. Lots wont really have a choice I reckon that number will be growing as more people will be laid off. It wont need to be everyone just in the millions what are they going to do fine and arrest a million people? Considering Birmingham and quite a few other councils are already bust that is a large chunk of the population already. Guess we will see....
They are all broke mate. It would take nearly everyone to not pay. Realise all those on benefits pay by default. They will have no choice unless they lose their benefits.
When we were forced to lockdown, London was broke but nothing changed, the prices just went up. In everything. The same thing willhappen
