It's beyond our knowledge to know exactly how close we are to easy transmission between people. It may not even be possible. if it is close it may be inevitable due to current practices all over the world - it will happen somewhere.

But if nothing else, even if you are a selfish ghoul, you have to be an incredibly foolish ghoul not to take all the precautions you can to prevent it from starting *here*. If it starts here, we will not have any time to react, and we will suddenly be on the receiving end of border closures, travel bans and logistic chain shutdown as the rest of the world freaks out.
