🤔🤔 my silly side says he makes the coffee and coffee is life. The more serious side says when the boy was little, just seeing him doing the dad things with the tiny creature that was our baby, now it varies on my moods...could be sending me out to do things on my own, taking the kid out for a day so I can get some me time, little things here and there.

this is such a profound and beautiful response~! often times we think it's the showy things or romantic gestures, but often times it's the small things we do that show we care, but don't even notice.
and that part about giving you "me time." it's so important to make space for moms when they're always surrounded by needy critters. and even though love seeks closeness, desire needs distance.
