Sci fi specifically, or sci fi, fantasy, and speculative fiction broadly?
The Lies of Locke Lamora is great fantasy, imo. For sci fi I’m enjoying the Sun Eater series.
Did you read Dungeon Crawler Carl? Most fun book I’ve read in a while, although you’ll lose some brain cells
