My personal preference is to just have red light at home (LED is fine) for morning/evening and rely on the sun for the white light during the day.

I operated this way for a period, but you still have the flicker issue unfortunately

I think it’s more of the led driver issue. Usually it’s not compatible with dimmer. Anyways, no issue on mine.
