Got 6 big swales dug in 2 days, a lot of digging! Hope I did it right and they work as planned and the trees will live!

Haha no! Would have taken months! They are like 350 ft long! Had a medium small excavator
Have you seeded them with anything? It's good to get a fast growing cover crop to hold the soil together. Geoff Lawton plants everything in the swale mound right away: quick cover crop, shrubs and trees. And plenty of mulch.
Yes I have a bunch of buckwheat and straw I need to put down soon! It has just been a crazy week!
