Any FOSS Android/Graphene keyboards with built-in spellcheck where the UI/UX *doesn’t* suck??
Floris has been decent, but no spell-check…

HeliBoard
Thanks!!
🙏
Best FOSS keyboard, hands down, using it now.
FUTO Keyboard. Even available on nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0
Oh hell yeah. Thank you!
I use FUTO too... only because of their voice keyboard.
Powered by a local LLM. Genius.
Cool, thank you both!
Any need to worry about this? I assume the warning shows up with every keyboard, but it’s been a while since I downloaded a new one. (And since I can’t read the GitHub code to verify, I’m gonna need to trust someone)
I guess the stock keyboard doesn’t show it, but the others (Magikeyboard from KeyPassDX,m and FlorisBoard) both do.
FUTO keyboard is proprietary, most of their stuff is
But still open source.
Thanks yall 🙏
I’m *loving* it 🔥
As a primarily iOS user, this is the first Android keyboard where the muscle memory actually aligns pretty well. Thank you all SO much!
source-available != open source
That's OK. Is it closed source?
No it’s open source; seems pretty legit and (having tried it for the past few hours) it is extremely smooth
Or at least the code is all public. But not open for public contributions
source-available (not open-source though), you can check out the code here https://gitlab.futo.org/keyboard/latinime
source-available. sounds like a template to me! 😉
