Let’s be real

This UTXO/self-sovereign conversation is actually one of many reasons why we need more progressives/leftists/“collectivists” in Bitcoin and building Bitcoin things. We need folks who have the ability to think about the common good, the 99%, not just themselves and their family who will hide away in a citadel, and those that pretend everything they have in life is because they created it for themselves.

Tons of libertarian socialists in Bitcoin promoting self-sovereignty and a vision of the Bitcoin world I could get onboard with that isn’t rugged individualism.

I don't think the self sovereignty aspect of Bitcoin is what is going to change the world and fix the broken system. Imo the supply cap is the most important thing, they money printers must be shut down. Self sovereignty is just an added bonus that is very appealing and empowering to us, and has helped Bitcoin as a bottom up movement.
