I love his work on COVID/mRNA, but it is remarkable to watch him dance circles around the obvious answers to his concerns.

He has valid concerns about the infringement on free speech in the West. Nostr is the answer - he just doesn’t see it.

He has valid concerns about mRNA. The answer is to separate money and State so that big pharma doesn’t get the benefit of the Cantillon Effect. But he can’t envision a world where money emerges as a function of market forces.

That being said, people like Bret (and Tucker, Rogan, RFK, Trump, Dave Smith etc) are useful in that while they are rarely 100% on the mark, they are typically on the right track, and they have the advantage of reaching normies. The unfortunate reality is that most people aren’t going to pick up Mises and Rothbard and learn from the ground up. They need to dip their toe in first with more approachable voices
