Waiting years for Bret Weinstein to finally realize and openly admit that all the problems he talks about are downstream from central banking and broken money.

I really like Bret, but I think he's too much of

a leftie to be comfortable letting money being separated from government

Yes. To his credit, he himself admits he has been warming to and adopting libertarian principles and that he was wrong about them. But still, he doesn’t know that the Middle of the Road Policy Leads to Socialism. Basically zero Mises or Rothbard in his life.

That's why I like him. He's very opened to new ideas and perspectives. He's also aware of his own biases and is very open about them.

He al’right. He gots too high on his own supply.

One of those inTelleCTual daRk wEB’ tards finally figuring it out?

Yes and no. So painfully close but won’t take the last step.

It’s gonna take those fart sniffers awhile

I love his work on COVID/mRNA, but it is remarkable to watch him dance circles around the obvious answers to his concerns.

He has valid concerns about the infringement on free speech in the West. Nostr is the answer - he just doesn’t see it.

He has valid concerns about mRNA. The answer is to separate money and State so that big pharma doesn’t get the benefit of the Cantillon Effect. But he can’t envision a world where money emerges as a function of market forces.

That being said, people like Bret (and Tucker, Rogan, RFK, Trump, Dave Smith etc) are useful in that while they are rarely 100% on the mark, they are typically on the right track, and they have the advantage of reaching normies. The unfortunate reality is that most people aren’t going to pick up Mises and Rothbard and learn from the ground up. They need to dip their toe in first with more approachable voices

Well said I agree.

Yeah but he’s got a blind spot in his leftie mindset
