Or, as my son explained it:

Today is the when we stop abstaining from meat because it's Lent,

and start abstaining from meat because it's Holy Week.

LOL that reaction

It came round really quickly this year... like I barely got started with a bit of withdrawal here and there for lent.

What I did learn about myself in this season is that 'nostr', being the eclectic mix of notes, memes, videos, articles, long form, podcasts, and adjacent v4v projects... both the content, and the emergent protocol, the arguments for and against different developments... man, this whole thing consumed my attention more aggressively than the algorithms did previously on big tech.

I know it's because it's wholesome and interesting, and exciting to be part of something new, history in the making, tell the grandkids you were there and all that, but... between this and the 'gpt circus' going on at the fiat mines, my attention looks like the meme where they guy's face is fried.

Today I started outlining a thought piece about the death and ressurection, in the hope of lifting my attention to higher things.

Notes and other stuff will pass away but the word of the Lord endures forever.

Selah.

Amen

Will you write it, cleanly and enduringly, as a long-form note? I would like to pass it on.

Maundy Thursday Mass is so beautiful.

In Germany, the chanting in the candlelight.
