Just finished The Creature from Jekyll Island, probably one of the best book I’ve ever read so far.
So many author’s insights came true about the future state of the world. Impressive, but frightening as well.
Grateful that we have Bitcoin, but when I see how the entire world instantly changed its mind in a matter a months on the subject, I get extremely suspicious.
Blackrock goes all in on it, other investments funds go in as well, CEO who do not follow are replaced; The ECB changes the content of a paper it published about Bitcoin in a 2 weeks window; major countries speak about it; 12 months ago it was bad for the environment, now the WEF brags its merits; and there are now serious debates about whether or not to put Bitcoin as a reserve asset of the most powerful country on earth.
The “they realize they could not destroy it, so they embrace it not to get left behind” reason seems too easy to swallow…
Just my thoughts, Bitcoin is still, in my opinion, the best shot we have at having a fair and decentralized monetary system, we just have to be realistic.
